Haas vacated both their cockpits earlier today. The team had hinted at such a move and have acted earlier than expected. Both the drivers, Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen, received the news that they have been terminated for 2021. Guenther Steiner was certain that his team needed a complete transformation. Therefore, he would like his cockpits to have personalities like him.
For a long time, Ferrari and Haas have been in talks about a seat for a Junior FDA driver. Till Nurburgring, the driver in context, was Callum Ilott. However, Mick Schumacher’s place in the Alfa Romeo is uncertain. Now, will Ferrari push the F2 champion to the Haas camp?

Mick Schumacher and Callum Ilott are the two drivers from F2 that have the required eligibility to make it to F1. Mick Schumacher has been on the Haas list for a long time. But, as Ferrari linked Mick to Alfa Romeo, Haas was out. However, as Alfa Romeo is eager to carry their present drivers ahead into the new season, Haas are more than happy to take in Schumacher Jr.

“The Schumacher name is one of the biggest in Formula 1. Mick drives very well too, leads Formula 2. He is very strong this year. Who wouldn’t want a Schumacher, especially in this form? But the decision as to whom Ferrari sends on is up to Ferrari.” expressed Guenther Steiner.

Mazepin’s story is like Lance Stroll’s story at Racing Point. His father is poised to make a generous donation to the American team to book a cockpit for his son if rumors hold any value.
