After a super final qualifying session in Abu Dhabi, Vettel started today’s race in P9. The German’s sheer handling of his Aston Martin car made many fans wonder why he was retiring. He’ll be looking forward to enjoying every minute of his final race as prepares to bid goodbye to Formula 1.

Indeed, such an occasion requires a special celebration. Sebastian Vettel was accompanied by a very special guest in the paddock for his final race. His dad, Norbert Vettel, was present in the Aston Martin garage, supporting and cheering his son for his last race.

Vettel Sr. was also seen dancing and enjoying himself as he was treated to a lap of the Abu Dhabi circuit. Moreover, The F1 paddock came together and joined Vettel on Saturday night in Abu Dhabi to celebrate his glittering career and bid farewell with a group track run.

The German was also joined by Haas driver Mick Schumacher, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, and Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali.
