Daniel Ricciardo reveals his most daring overtake of Formula 1 in a recent interview. The Australian driver feels that his move on Kimi Raikkonen in the 2015 Monaco GP is his most endearing move.
Danny was talking in a Sky Sports F1 Vodcast yesterday about his current life at Renault F1, partnering with Esteban Ocon and the future in F1. He was joined by former Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick.

When asked about his most memorable overtake in formula 1 Danny replied, “The one that comes to mind is the overtake in Monaco on Kimi in 2015”.
Daniel Ricciardo had made a pit stop under the safety car, and was on fresh tires. He made a daring move on the Finn and was able to pass Kimi Räikkönen under controversial circumstances.

Daniel Ricciardo set the fastest lap in the race
During the last few laps of the race, Ricciardo’s teammate Kvyat then let him past allowing him to attempt a move on third-place Hamilton. When Ricciardo couldn’t surpass, he gave the fourth spot back to Kvyat. However, he managed to set the quickest lap of the race.
