Kimi Raikkonen has been racing marvelously this season. The old veteran is currently in the 19th year in the circus of F1, and he still has that fire in his belly. For the past few races, he has been shockingly fast during the initial laps, taking the fight straight to the leaders.

Kimi’s time in the Alfa Romeo team has been wonderful. For the past two years, he has grown with the team and helped them grow as well. So when such a bond nurtures, the team radios are always exciting.

George Russell was a few laps shy of scoring his first-ever F1 points at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. However, in an unfortunate turn of events, the Williams man suffered a spin at the sidetrack at Aqua Minerale turn. Although the event was sorrowful, the sarcastic reply of Kimi’s engineer can’t be missed.

“Oh! Okay, good. That’s one less. P10 then. That was an easy pass,” replied the voice through the radio.

George has our deepest sympathies; what’s more, he has been beating himself up for what he calls a ‘stupid mistake’. Yet this sarcastic radio message has been kicking up a storm.

Kimi Raikkonen is the embodiment of experience on the track. Keeping his last 2 races in mind he put everyone on the paddock on notice that there is no prosthetic for experience. When Hamilton and Verstappen struggled for grip at Portimao, Kimi eased past Turn 1 and was threatening Verstappen.
