Max Verstappen recently opened up about Naomi Schiff’s ‘gender-based’ criticism. The famed F1 pundit faced discriminative comments on Twitter from a troll that questioned her grounds for being selected at Sky Sports. The former W series driver has since received major positive support from several members of the F1 community.

Schiff’s merit earned her a spot in the GT4 European Series and she also took part in the 24 Hours of Nurburgring in 2018. She has also participated in the W series and acts as their diversity and inclusion ambassador.

Alongside Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel, Verstappen became another prominent figure to jump to her support. This is one of the first issues where Hamilton and Verstappen stood up for the same cause.
