Tweeting via the Sky Sports F1 account. Brundle replied: “Until 2019 I’d have always put my money on Hamilton, but I believe the tide is turning. And that’s why I’m particularly sad not to be witnessing Max vs Lewis right now.”

Hamilton declared his status as the man to beat a year ago. He scored 11 victories from 21 races while winning a 6th F1 drivers’ title. Bringing him one step closer to the record held by Schumacher. Only a few would wager against the Mercedes driver overtaking Michael Schumacher for the maximum number of drivers’ championships. Schumacher holds the record for most GP wins with 91 Grand Prix wins. And the record for most drivers’ titles with seven titles during his career. Hamilton is just on the brink to overtake the motor-racing legend.
