Mick Schumacher is portraying a dominating performance in Formula 2 at the moment. The probability of seeing Mick in a Formula 1 next season is growing each day. While speaking to underarmour.com, he says about how he used to race “Undercover“. He reveals that he had always wanted to build his own fame rather than being “a father’s son“.
Mick opens up about how he races under a different name. “I’d used different names to sort of race undercover, improve without too much of notoriety of being ‘my father’s son’,” Mick said.
“But honestly, I don’t feel any pressure to carry on the family name or do exactly what my father did. Most of the stress comes from what I put on myself, thinking about what I did wrong and how I can improve.
