Fernando Alonso might take the fight to the top teams on the grid next year as he returns driving for Renault. The vast motorsport experiences he has gained since his retirement in 2018 would help drive him much better next season. Moreover, Renault has shown some impressive improvement towards the end of this season.

Alonso is being subjected to countless testing chances towards the end of the season; he recently finished four days of testing sessions in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi. He has also been very active with his feedback to the team.

Fernando Alonso recently joked that Cyril Abiteboul, Renault boss, is tired of his feedbacks. He said, “Right now I have sent him three messages … half an hour or so ago. I know he has read them, but he still has not responded to me.”
