Lando Norris is one of the best young F1 talents. He has showcased his potential on many occasions. Other than racing for Mclaren in Formula 1, he is known for his love for golf. Fans spotted the 22-year-old driver at the Golf course before the Italian Grand Prix this year. Looking at his love for the sport, fans now wonder who introduced him to the sport.

For Lando Norris, golf represents ‘relaxation away from the paddock’. Following his love, the McLaren driver competed in the BMW PGA Championship, which is arguably every golfer’s dream. His teammates were pro golfer Tyrrell Hatton, actor Tom Felton, and former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler.

In the column, Norris revealed who introduced him to this sport. “I probably have Carlos Sainz to thank for that. It was Carlos who introduced me to golf when we were teammates at McLaren in 2019.”

He further added, he’d like to get some tips from Carlos Sainz, and titled him the “best golfer among us F1 drivers.”

The season has been fantastic for the Mclaren Driver. The hardships of the teammate, Daniel Ricciardo, didn’t make Norris lose any hope on the track.
