Haas Reportedly Negotiating a Million-Dollar Deal With Ex-Aston Martin Sponsors

Since the late-2019 season, Haas have been going through a rather disappointing phase in Formula 1. Despite being hailed as the best mid-field team for a brief period, the hypes substantially died down as the American team returned to their dismayed position.
Hence, in an attempt to pull themselves up, Haas were forced to sign pay drivers despite the abundant availability of talented drivers in the pool. This has been the story of Haas so far in F1.
Finally, after such an awful period, Haas are starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel. Apparently, the team are negotiating a deal with a massive water purifier company regarding the title sponsorship. If the deal goes through successfully, F1 can witness Haas sporting a new look for the first time since 2019.

The former F1 driver indirectly mentioned that a ‘pink’ company is in talks with his nephew’s team, as Mick’s championship-winning season in F2 witnessed him wearing a pink suit while racing for PREMA.
“A sponsor has just become available, not that Mick’s special color comes into play,” he said.
Who are BWT?
BWT were one of the biggest game-changers in Force India and Racing Point’s success story in Formula 1. The Austrian company joined the paddock back in 2017 following a deal with the team’s then-owner, Vijay Mallya. BWT assisted the team during their cash constraint periods and helped them stay afloat in the sport.
They stuck along with Force India through highs and lows, and following Lawrence Stroll‘s takeover, it was all about glory for the pink panther.
However, now that Racing Point are taking shape into Aston Martin, BWT bid adieu to the team, as Cognizant showed up as their replacement.
Hence, if the company manages to sign the deal with Haas, 2021 will turn out to be their fifth straight season in Formula 1.
How will Haas’ livery look?
Well, BWT follows the protocol of running as title sponsors only if the team changes the majority of their livery to pink.

And the custom isn’t going to change with Haas either. Hence, the Gene Haas-led team will sport pink color, should the two parties agree on the deal.
However, it is unlikely that Haas would give up on their traditional red-grey-white livery. Hence, the livery could turn up as a collaboration of the four colors.
