From the drivers, engineers, and team principals to freight forwarders, everyone gets to have some time away from the grid. What do they do in these times? Lewis Hamilton, as a driver, explains.

This isn’t just in case of the summer off, but also for all the other non-race weekends. While many enjoy personal space, traveling around the world in these times, their routine differs very much from the usual race on weekdays. Seven-time world champion explains his daily routine on such days.

In an interview from 2016, the Mercedes man stated what he does on a non-race Sunday morning, by saying, “Get up, go to church, then come home, relax.”

“Take the dogs for a walk. Go to lunch or brunch with some friends. Go to beach. Depend on where I am. I guess I’m never in a same place on a Sunday, but that’s a perfect Sunday.”
