Nico Hulkenberg believes car is responsible for Seb’s poor performance

In an interview with RTL, as quoted by Speedweek, Hulkenberg revealed that he believes the car is the reason why there are fluctuations in Vettel’s performance. Furthermore, he admitted that driving on the street circuits is more about drivers’ experience than the car.

“That is of course always connected with the car. Sebastian really had difficulties, however, and it took a while before he understood the car and really got inside. That was a bit of a surprise,” said the 33-year-old.

The German would certainly look to end his streak of two points-less races when F1 reaches Silverstone. Fortunately, his chances are good, as Vettel has previously won the British GP on two occasions – 2009 and 2018.
