Lando Norris’ Dirty Laundry Aired in Public After Ex-flatmate Betrays Trust

Lando Norris has been a fan favorite amongst the F1 community ever since the Brit made his debut for McLaren in 2019. The 23-year-old has firmly established himself as the poster boy of F1, especially, for younger fans. He’s able to reach this demographic due to his boyish charms, love for video games, and all things sim racing! Now, when we describe Norris like this, you’d be well within your rights to pine for the chance of being able to bunk with the McLaren star full-time, right? Younger F1 fans would jump at this opportunity. But if his ex-flatmate’s account is anything to go by, you wouldn’t want to have Lando Norris as your flatmate, ever!
Once upon a time, in 2018, McLaren hopeful Lando Norris and 2023 Formula E driver Sacha Fenestraz were flatmates in Guilford, England. On the eve of Fenestraz making it big with the Nissan Formula E team, he barred all about his time with the Brit.
Daily Star quoted the 23-year-old as saying, “He wasn’t the tidiest guy I have ever met, but nowadays we still laugh about it! I’m not going to say it was the healthiest life that we had, because it was all-day long simulator, all-day long playing games.” But Norris had another big addiction. We knew Norris loved his milk. But what’s milk without a healthy dose of cereal?

“He had so many of them [Weetabix] around the house! He even had one with his own name on it, because Weetabix did one for him.”
Lando certainly would not have liked Fenestraz airing his dirty laundry secrets in public. His ex-flatmate’s betrayal might be playing on in Norris’ head. That being said, it’s time he geared up for yet another challenge in 2023.
How will the Lando Norris – Oscar Piastri dynamic pan out at McLaren?
Oscar Piastri will be making his F1 debut with McLaren in 2023. However, he will be going up against a driver who’s made the likes of Daniel Ricciardo bite the dust. Naturally, you’d expect tensions to flare up right from the beginning. An ex-McLaren employee has now weighed in on the issue.

Andreas Seidl, who left McLaren for Sauber earlier last year, was quoted by Motorsport.com as saying, “Obviously each driver is different: different personality, different character and that could end up in let’s say a different relationship also between the two guys. But it doesn’t necessarily mean that one or the other type of relationship is a better or a worse one.”

“In the end the way Lando [Norris] is as a guy, as a character, as a person, as a driver, and the way we got to know Oscar [Piastri] so far, I don’t expect any issues.”
