After the race resumed, Charles Leclerc dive-bombed Sebastian Vettel and sideswiped him with Sainz on his other side. Sebastian Vettel was very frustrated at the Leclerc’s carelessness and gave an earful to the Monegasque over the radio.

It was a repeat of the Austrian Grand Prix, and Vettel was vehement that Charles can not keep doing it. “We should have crashed, maybe that would have been the better choice,” he grumbled over the radio.

“All morning we talk about leaving space for each other, and then you go into the smallest gap that doesn’t exist and pray that the other sees you and gets out of the way,” said the four-time world champion.

“I was considerate of the other car from us, Charles. But I think he showed no consideration. I was particularly careful with Charles, but he was maybe a bit inconsiderate,” said Vettel.

Charles Leclerc fought back at Vettel’s criticism of an alleged attack at the restart of the race. He pointed out that the case in Bahrain was different from that of Austria.
