Lewis Hamilton has always raised his voice against racism and discrimination. He has used his success and glory to help those in need and fight injustice. He even got Mercedes to shift from their usual silver livery to a black one in 2021 to join his fight against racism. Now, he’s again working on a new project to promote diversity in F1.

The 37-year-old has come up with the plan called Mission 44. It is an organization that will support young people from different backgrounds. To help the venture grow, the Silver Arrows driver spends a lot of time at zoom meetings when not racing. He also revealed that he likes to face the challenges that such projects bring.

Recently in an interview, Hamilton said, “I spent a lot of time on a lot of zoom calls and especially for the Mission 44, which I just started with the team. And just challenging a lot of people in the industry because no one is having those serious conversations. I’m basically a thorn in the thigh of the industry.

“Just making sure we are challenging ourselves, we are doing enough. Cause I don’t feel any industry is doing enough. They can always do more. We can always do more for people. I am very fortunate. I never thought I would have a platform like I do.”

What does Lewis Hamilton do when he is not racing?
