6 times World champion Lewis Hamilton is set to show his support for the Black Lives Matter movement. Several rumors regarding him kneeling at the Red Bull Ring are taking over the internet. These speculations come from the fact that the Mercedes driver has lately been very vocal regarding the George Floyd protests all over the world.
Since the last few weeks, social media is witnessing a storm of posts from athletes and celebrities from all over the world. This includes Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James and NBA legend Michael Jordan. Both of whom have pledged support either financially or by initiating movements. Some, such as Borussia Dortmund’s Jaden Sancho and Real Madrid’s Marcelo have also taken this to the playing field.

Further, he also patronized an article about the uprooting of statues in England. This led to severe criticism from fellow British citizens, despite which he continues to advocate it. He quoted, “This is a great start @mayorofldn”, in turn thanking the London Mayor for his support for the same.
