Achieving glory in the premier league of motorsport is no child’s play, and it is not only down to the driver to bring home the silverware. In this cut-throat competition, one can only rise to the top if the entire team is in sync, and for many years it has been the Mercedes that has led by example in the F1 paddock.

From the get-go, to chase the glory, the team has worked out flat out to fix all the pieces of the puzzles in place. Arguably, the most important figures in the German camp have been the team boss, Toto Wolff, and the star driver, Lewis Hamilton.

The duo is really fond of one another and, with the success they have achieved as colleagues, it is safe to say that they bring out the best in each other. Yet, after working nine years in the same team, it was a painting of the British man in his office that caught the Austrian boss out of the blue.

In a quick-fire question round, Toto Wolff answered the question, “Weirdest gift you’ve ever received?”

He said, “Shov and Bono leaving a painting with Lewis’s naked back in my office and, as per the rumors, they left my office giggling a lot. ”

Later, the seven-time world champion chuckled and shared his off-putting present, “Japanese men’s underwear”

Mercedes boss is confident of a long future with Lewis Hamilton

In 2013, the fate of the Mercedes team changed with two major signings in form of Lewis Hamilton and Toto Wolff. The Brit jumped ship from McLaren to join the Brackley outfit, while Wolff jumped ship from the Williams to serve as the new executive director of the team.

Together, they have raised the bar in F1 by winning 8-constructor world titles and 6 driver world titles. Recently, Lewis Hamilton reached the 300 races milestone in his career, and the Mercedes boss wants to see the Brit reach the 400 mark with his team.
