“Maybe Something Will Develop There”- Schumacher Believes Sebastian Vettel Could Join Alpha Tauri in 2021

The 2021 Formula One season has induced a sense of intrigue across the entire paddock. Sebastian Vettel’s future in the sport is the biggest mystery of them all after the four-time World Champion’s relationship with Scuderia Ferrari came to an abrupt end.

Their unanticipated split sparked a series of rumors as far as his next destination was confirmed. One of the more promising teams speculated to induct the German into their ranks was Redbull.

However, all conjecture regarding the same was duly denied by the Redbull Team Principal, Christian Horner. Despite Sebastian Vettel having expressed an interest in reuniting with his former team.

But on the other hand, the former driver, Mr. Ralf Schumacher, still believes that Sebastian Vettel can hitch a ride with Redbull.

The German wonder kid started his career with Red Bull’s B team Alpha Toro Rosso back in 2007. He gave them their only pole position, podium finish and victory during the 2008 Italian Grand Prix. Duly remembered as “Miracle in Monza.”

The team is now known as “Scuderia Alpha Tauri” from the 2020 season. Their seats are currently occupied by the Russian and French drivers, Daniil Kvyat and Pierre Gasly, respectively.

Talking about the speculations and potential teams for the German driver, Ralf Schumacher told Sky, “Sebastian started there, Franz Tost is a big fan of his, just like Dr. Marko. Maybe something will develop there.”

He further added about the future team strategy by saying, “I could also imagine that Red Bull will act differently next year and can also launch four equal cars.”

The German veteran shed some light upon the current relationship dynamic between Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari, “You have to separate the performance from Sebastian and Ferrari.

As expected, Ferrari was very bad. They actually made the best of it. Before all things Sebastian.

“He had his teammate under control from the beginning to the end of the weekend, and he got the best out of the difficult package and drove an absolutely flawless race.

“The fact that Ferrari was still lapped was not a funny situation. But last year Mercedes had been already in another world, as Sebastian said himself.”
