After an action-packed race weekend concluded at the United States Grand Prix, the F1 paddock will head towards Mexico City for the Mexican Grand Prix in two weeks’ time. Just like the US Grand Prix, Mexico was removed from last year’s racing calendar because of the pandemic.
The Mexican GP is scheduled between November 5 and November 7, 2021, and will take place at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez motorsport race track. It is a 4.304 kilometers or 2.674 miles-long circuit and there will be a total of 71 laps.
The Mexican GP will follow the regular race format, starting with FP 1 and FP2 sessions on Friday, November 5. On Saturday, the FP3 will be followed by a qualifying session, and ultimately the weekend will conclude with the main race on November 7.

And despite being on fresher tires at the closing stages of the race, Hamilton failed to overtake his title rival and crossed the checkered flag just 1.3 seconds before the Dutchman.
