Super Bowl vs Miami GP: Which is bigger?

The history of the Super Bowl runs into the mid-1960s while Miami GP has just laid its foundation now in 2022. Hence, it would certainly be unfair to take Super Bowl’s overall stats into account and rather focus on the latest event, that is, 2022.

Attendance

The 2022 Super Bowl witnessed Los Angeles Rams clash against Cincinnati Bengals as the former eventually went on to lift the title. This particular event had over 70k (70,048 to be precise) audience swarming to the SoFi Stadium to embrace the electrifying on-pitch action.

Meanwhile, F1 will have over 240,000 spectators for the inaugural event, scheduled later this week.

Revenue from hosting the events

According to reports, the NFL claimed that it could bring almost $300M to $500M to cities hosting Super Bowl events. On the other hand, Miami GP organizers, quite recently, reckoned that the three-day F1 event could milk nearly $400M to the city of Miami, going almost on par with the competitors.

Celebrities performing at the event

During the latest Super Bowl, many world-renowned performers, including Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent.
