Mick Schumacher is one of the fresher faces on the grid. The 2020 F2 champion made his debut with Haas only last year. However, so far the 23-year-old has struggled to find his feet at the top level. Although the 2021 Haas was nearly undrivable at times, their 2022 package is a lot more competitive. However, Mick is yet to score a point in his F1 career.
Regardless, he has found himself an ally and mentor on the grid in the form of Sebastian Vettel. Recently the driver opened up about his relationship with the 4-time World Champion.

Mick Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel’s special bond
Mick Schumacher is still in his early days as an F1 driver. A dismal car in 2021 did not give the F2 champion a chance to showcase his talent and race craft. However, the 2022 season has seen Mick display some of the qualities that led him to be crowned champion in the junior category.
In the meantime, the German has been somewhat taken under the tutelage of compatriot and fellow F1 driver Sebastian Vettel. Mick’s father Michael had done the same with Vettel in his early days in F1.

He was further quizzed about his crash with the 4-time world champion in Miami. Mick replied, “Yes, but we’ve raced hard before. If we go back to Imola, we raced hard too against each other.
He added, “That’s fun because it’s more of a we drive together than it is necessarily against. It’s fun when it’s him…..I know it’s gonna be a good fight because he knows my limits and I know his limits. So it’s just a matter of giving that to each other.”
