The wait is finally over! Formula One is finally visiting the Miami Grand Prix for the first time in a couple of weeks. And it looks like no one is more excited to go to Florida than Red Bull team principal Christian Horner.

Red Bull have done their promotional video around the Hard Rock Stadium where the Miami circuit is created. There is no better time for them to visit a new race than after coming off the back of domination in Imola.

The sport has been promoting the race heavily since the time they announced it.

Christian Horner looking forward to going racing in Miami GP

Christian Horner could not hide his excitement at the cars racing at the track on May 8th. On the ‘Beyond The Grid’ podcast, he mentioned it will be a great track for racing.

” Miami is going to be super cool. I mean, there is a real hype about Miami and I’ve never seen a race to have so much demand. We have totally oversubscribed and I think we have a waiting list of hundreds of thousands of people trying to buy a ticket and can’t get in,” said the Red Bull team boss.

“So, it’s an interesting track, and it’s a simple layout. They tend to sometimes be the trickier ones. It’s got a huge straight and I think the racing will be good there and it would be great to see the cars in Miami,” said Horner.

Since this is the first time Formula One will be racing in Miami, it would be interesting to see if the layout can provide the racing that it promises. It would also be interesting to see which teams suit the layout more so that they can get a head start on the weekend.

Hopefully, it lives up to the expectations of all the fans around the world and is present at the track. But it’s a lot of pressure for a new circuit to deliver on so many expectations that have been laid upon it. But Red Bull would hope that the track favors them and they take the championship lead.
