In the Azerbaijan GP, Pierre Gasly recorded his season-best finish after not getting points for the last four races. The gap between the top teams and the midfield, despite the 2022 regulations, frustrated the Frenchman. However, with a powerful drive in Baku, the AlphaTauri man finished on P5 behind both the Red Bulls and Mercedes.

Gasly has been making his case to rejoin Red Bull ever since his demotion from the team. With a win and multiple podium finishes since then, Gasly is showcasing the talent required to be on a top team. However, Sergio Perez’s renewal with Red Bull means the AlphaTauri man won’t be behind a Red Bull anytime soon.
