The 2023 season might still be a few months away for the fans. However, the preparations in the background are in full swing. Ferrari is the best example with the change in management and reports of the 2023 challenger pouring in. In fact, there are no signs of Ferrari slowing down in terms of preparations with fresh news coming out of Maranello—news that might potentially upset the new boss Frederic Vasseur.

After the downward spiraling events of the entire 2022 season, the Italian team had to make drastic changes. What’s new for the Ferrari French boss for the 2023 season?

The French boss might not have the liberty and freedom at Scuderia that his predecessor enjoyed yet! According to the Italian outlet of Motorsport.com, Ferrari’s CEO, Benedetto Vigna will take a more active role alongside Vasseur. We are not sure what capacity will the CEO operate in and how hands-on he will be. However, there is sure to be some oversight by the CEO over the new boss.

It is likely the new boss will be irked by this recent development, especially with Vasseur’s to-the-point personality. We can expect some friction at Ferrari in case the CEO becomes too hands-on and restricts Vasseur.
