F1 teams have been known to produce some of the wittiest and funniest banter these days. In the festive spirit of the Christmas holidays, it is Red Bull Racing that has taken the initiative this time.
The team, on Twitter, shared a colorfully designed infographic, which had two columns in its Christmas List. The post’s caption reads, “Making a list and checking it twice. Anyone we’ve missed?”
Some interesting names also made it to the ‘Naughty List’ in the picture. So who exactly were these entities that featured on that section of the list?

Max Verstappen’s 70th Anniversary win featured on the ‘Nice List’
There were quite a few memorable moments for the Austrian-licensed outfit in the 2020 season. The team’s star driver, Max Verstappen, guided the ‘Bulls’ to two victories, at Silverstone and later in Abu Dhabi.
Alex Albon also got onto the list for achieving his first-ever podium in Formula 1, when he crossed the finish line in P3 in Mugello. The team’s superb heroics, courtesy of the mechanics and pit crew working on Verstappen’s car, at the Hungaroring earlier this season, also made it to the list.

But Red Bull took a jab at Racing Point, calling them ‘Tracing Point’, following their brake ducts incident earlier this year. Although it is friendly banter, for now, it will be interesting to see if that develops into a genuine on-track rivalry at some point in time in the future.
Hamilton’s shunt on Albon at the 2020 Austrian GP also made it to the team’s ‘naughty list’. It was similar to the 2019 Brazilian GP, where the Thai driver was on course for his first-ever podium.
Although the line in the post accompanying Ferrari’s name is relatively unclear, some Twitter users have pointed out that it probably reads as ‘For breaking Seb’.

The 2020 season was a mixed bag for Red Bull Racing
Red Bull was largely second-best in the title challenge with eventual champions Mercedes. The start of the season needed to be stronger, and a mix of mechanical failures and accidents did not help their cause.
Although the team gathered a better pace in the latter part of the season, it was already too late. However, the race at Abu Dhabi gave them hope and optimism ahead of next year.

The team’s priority is to win the constructors’ title again, and the decision to recruit Perez was seemingly made keeping that in mind. So, as we head into 2021, the onus is now on Red Bull to take the fight to Mercedes.
