Red Bull ‘Will Not Give up’ in Title Fight Against Mercedes, Declares Max Verstappen

Max Verstappen concluded the 2020 season on a high note. However, for him to even be at par with Mercedes‘ excellence, Red Bull will have to work at the zenith of their potential.
The press has been bombarding Max with questions about his plans for the 2021 season. The year has already set in and we are just months away from the season’s first race. With minimal options for the team in modifying the car, what is the Dutchman planning for this season to challenge Mercedes?
Jos Verstappen brought him up to be an F1 pilot, and thus, Max has always been a dedicated racer. Therefore, the championship has always been his end goal.

However, he was quick enough to realize that we cannot always reach our targets. Even then, we cannot give up and need to keep improving.
Well, that exactly is his mantra. “I think I have improved again compared to last year. And that is the claim. You always want to get better.” Max Verstappen also added a collective word from his team saying, “We will not give up.”
The optimism within Verstappen hints at a better season for Red Bull. With both the pilots in excellent form, the team could look ahead to take on Mercedes. Yet, they will have to deliver a car that could complement the potential of the pilots. Else, it would be the same old P2 for Red Bull again.
“Nobody knows what will happen in 2021.
“Because you are limited in what you can change on the car.”

Max Verstappen to build from 2020 season
Red Bull gears up for another challenge in 2021. Their power unit partner, Honda, will leave the sport after next season, thus creating another problem for the team. However, before that, they need to make sure that their pilots sit well with each other. With this year as a transitional phase in the sport, they have that chance.
Red Bull hired Sergio Perez after a thorough analysis of his form. Only after they had recorded his consistency for the entire season, they went ahead with the contract. They hope that Checo would push Verstappen to be better, and while doing so, get both Milton Keynes drivers to the podium.

Max Verstappen takes a very optimistic approach while looking at his 2020 season. He believes that his performance was satisfactory, and truthfully speaking, his satisfaction stands justified. The Dutchman was right on Mercedes’ tail all season; he almost had Lewis at Nurburgring, and he was the king at Yas Marina.
Red Bull and Max return to the track with a renewed zeal. With better strategies and, hopefully, a better consistency rate, they plan to trouble Mercedes.
