Sebastian Vettel has had a difficult season, to say the least. He has driven to seven no points finishes. However, he finally clinched a podium finish at the Turkish Grand Prix.
The tension between Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari has been quite evident all season. Reports have suggested that the team has focused to make the car more suitable for Charles Leclerc. Ralf Schumacher, in his F1 column, stated that the team is responsible for the German’s misery. According to Ralf, the driver is always at the mercy of his team.
Out of Ferrari’s 130 points, Vettel has scored only 33 points.

Recently, Felipe Massa, in an interview, talked about Sebastian Vettel’s performance this season. He said, “I think Sebastian’s moment is over, because he is not doing the job that one expects from a four-time world champion and I think the team should make a change.”

He acknowledged that Ferrari is having a troublesome time. He explained, “The car is the most important thing, without a competitive car you cannot win and that does not depend on the drivers.”
However, Sebastian Vettel has opened up earlier about not being treated well. These issues between the team and its driver will always be problematic on the grid. It becomes unproductive for everyone involved.

It looked like the four-time world champion will finish the season without a podium finish. However, Vettel conjured up a beautiful race to claim a podium at the Turkish Grand Prix.
He wanted to win a championship with Ferrari, just like his idol Michael Schumacher. However, this season marks the end of their partnership. The German is making a move to Racing Point/Aston Martin next season.

He will look forward to taking the momentum from Turkey to the triple-header starting this weekend. A good finish to this season will help Vettel’s mindset before going to his new team. Hopefully, Vettel’s fans will not have to wait much longer to see him continuously fight for Formula 1 podiums.
