It’s light out and yellow flags we saw! Barred with yellow flags, the Singapore GP is making its return with plenty to talk about. The race at the time of writing already has six DNFs. It could’ve been seven, but Lewis Hamilton narrowly escaped the similar fate of six of his fellow racers.
The Mercedes man started the race at P3 but lost a position right at the start to a quick Carlos Sainz. On a track where overtaking is already pretty tough, Hamilton could not get close enough to Sainz to make a move.

However, the Englishman continued his relentless and aggressive approach to catch Ferrari‘s Spaniard. The Mercedes world champion, on intermediate tires around the halfway mark, pushed yet again.
Although this particular push on lap 33 cost Hamilton dearly. The Mercedes man locked up and went straight into the barriers at turn seven. The yellow flags quickly turned green, as there wasn’t enough damage to force retirement on Hamilton’s W13. The W13 took some damage on the front wing despite the “car looks intact” call.
