Every Motorsport fan is aware of the F1’s dream team in recent times. One’s a six-time drivers’ champion, one’s his six-time double champion team principal. The dream team is of Lewis Hamilton and Toto Wolff.
In a Sky Sports F1 interview, Martin Brundle addressed Hamilton and Wolff about their trophy-loaded excursion together at Mercedes and significantly more, diving into their triumphant team and what has made them click. Lewis Hamilton and Toto Wolff talk about the mystery behind their mind-blowing Formula 1 achievement. Together they have created an unbeatable team.
Martin Brundle says: “They’re like strawberries and cream or gin and tonic. Made for each other.”

Lewis Hamilton and Wolff met in 2013. It was when Mercedes shockingly signed Hamilton from McLaren. From that point forward they have left on a streak no one could have anticipated.
Mercedes, conceived from the 2009 title-winning Brawn GP group, have, since 2014, won six back to back titles. It is an accomplishment no F1 group has ever accomplished previously. While Hamilton has added five titles to make him the second-best driver ever.
“We were just like magnets. We drew each other together. I needed Toto to do what he did with the team. He needed me to do what I do in the car,” Hamilton said.

A battle will happen when the 2020 season gets in progress. The likes of Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen are viewed as the potential heirs to Hamilton’s position of authority. The six-time World Champion says he simply does all the talking on with his car.
“I think we’re always just looking ahead,” Hamilton said when asked about the threat of young guns of F1.

Although, the duo says they don’t know about the progress of other teams and what they are really up to.
“We don’t know what they have in store for us at the moment. All we can do is focus on what’s ahead of us and take one step at a time,” Hamilton added.
The Briton said: “We don’t get caught up wondering what Ferrari or Red Bull are doing. They can talk all they want. The way I’ve been brought up is to do my talking on the track.”

“Exactly,” Wolff agreed.
“Do the talking on the track. It’s the lap time that counts and not the talking. Many people make the mistake that you have to play some kind of media game. We don’t do that at all.”
