“I think for all of the drivers; the time is changing. Your time has passed. So I think he [Michael Schumacher] will be happy. Now definitely the record is not mine [Michael’s] anymore, but it is for somebody who really deserves it. Somebody who really proved he can have the records.” expressed the former Ferrari driver

Records are meant to be broken. However, it is in the healthy spirit of the sport that everyone maintains the sports person spirit around it. As a matter of fact, it should be a proud day for the sport. We are sure Schumacher loved the sport more than the records.

Lewis Hamilton has worked hard for it. If his racing does not satisfy you, his numbers surely will. Although pundits evade cross era comparisons, Lewis is one of the greats undoubtedly.
