Earlier, Valtteri Bottas took a brilliant pole at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. After completing his final run in Q3, Bottas and his boss, Toto Wolff, had a cheeky exchange of words through the team radio. Apparently, both have planned something later in the evening, but the pole-sitter reminded Toto to maintain it a secret.

As Bottas saw the chequered flag for the Qualifying session, he took to his team radio to celebrate his pole position. But surprisingly, Toto entered the radio. He said, “you know what we need to do tonight.”

The Finn acknowledged Toto’s statement and with a chuckle, he replied, “Aha, yes. Let’s keep it to ourselves.”
