Following a long straight, the track breaks up into a series of long winding left and right-handers which are reminiscent of the first sector in Suzuka.
There’s a common pattern of tricky high-speed rights and lefts which are sure to send the G force through the roof.

As far as overtaking opportunities go, the long main straight looks like the most realistic chance to make a move. Unless of course, drivers are brave on the brakes through the twisty bits of the circuit.

This is the first time Mugello’s hosting an F1 race, which is an exciting prospect. Apart from F1 racing at a relatively unknown track, Ferrari will be completing its 1000th race in F1.
The Scuderia now has two chances to deliver a solid result in its backyard. Ferrari winning the inaugural Mugello Grand Prix would simply be special. However, the team has its work cut it out in making the SF1000 a competitive car.
Ferrari completed a test at Mugello in late June with the Scuderia’s 2018 car, the SF71H. While it’s unlikely to give the team a major advantage over the others, Vettel and Leclerc will have a sense of familiarity with the track.

“Mugello is not just one of the most spectacular and challenging tracks for drivers and cars. It is also a structure that has made sustainability one of its priorities.” Said Binotto on Ferrari’s official website.
