Mumbai Indians player Hardik Pandya has often been in the news for all the wrong reasons. That was because of that controversial ‘Koffee With Karan‘ episode, and many lost a lot of respect for him. Naturally, the fans were furious at the scandalous comments that Pandya callously threw out.

However, Hardik Pandya has not let the negative press affect his game, if the IPL was any proof. The swash-buckling all-rounder has been one of the Mumbai Indians’ best players in IPL 2019. That alone seems to have brought him back in the good books of some fans.

However there are still a few bad apples in the bunch and they are ready to strike whenever possible. Earlier, television actress Krystle D’Souza posted a picture with Hardik Pandya on Instagram. Unfortunately, a user directed a racist comment towards the cricketer.

The Instagram user wrote, “Kaalu bhai. Aap West indies team ke world cup squad main select kyun nahi huye?”.

Luckily for Pandya, D’Souza and several fans promptly reached for their keyboards to call out the user for his racist remark. Krystle’s original post was captioned, “Mere Bhai Jaisa Koi Hard ich Nahi Hai #brotherfromanothermother”.

Speaking of defence, fellow actor Aparshakti Khurana wrote, “I think you should not write such comments and definitely not use such language. We all love Hardik because he is a performer. You should rather encourage the Indian team, especially before the World Cup.”

“Even I don’t like Hardik Pandya.. but I hv my own reasons.. & being dark is NOT one of them.. you hv no right to say this about anyone…??,” said another user.

Hardik Pandya has been bashed repeatedly for his appearance on chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ alongside fellow India teammate, KL Rahul. The BCCI the resolved the matter by fining the duo Rs 20 lakh each. Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul also served a provisional suspension and tendered an unconditional apology.
