American tennis player Sofia Kenin impressed one and all when she won the Australian Open 2020 title. She was having a great run and even came as high as being World No. 4 in the women’s section.

After winning the AO 2020 and being the finalist at the French Open 2020, Sofia could not capitalize on her form. The tide turned and she failed to register similar splendid performances in 2021. And that seems to be continuing in 2022 as well.

Downhill route for Sofia Kenin

As a result of a poor 2021, she finished last season as the World No. 12. Currently, things have gone from bad to worse for the American player as she crashed out in the first round of the Australian Open 2022.

Due to that, she will now drop out of the top 90, which is a huge blow. From being the World No. 4 to being ranked outside the top 90 is a massive disappointment.
