What to expect from Formula 1: Drive to Survive

The docu-series is produced by Academy-Award winner James Gay Rees  and Paul Martin for Box to Box films. To be perfectly honest, Formula 1: Drive To Survive season 2 cann0t come soon enough. Until then, the F1 fans have to just sit and wait until  the 2020 F1 cars commence pre-season testing at Barcelona before the series is released on February 28th.

What has the fans even more excited is the Netflix debut of Mercedes and Scuderia Ferrari. In addition to that, Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas, Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen will feature for the very first time. Also, rookie drivers, Lando Norris, Alexander Albon and George Russell will be featured for the first time.

With regard to expectations, the fans can expect footage of the chaotic German Grand Prix and the controversial Brazilian Grand Prix. Adding to the mix is, more hilarious moments and swear bombs from Guenther Steiner, and a spot of banter from Renault F1.

Sadly, this will also be the last time Nico Hulkenberg features on the hit docu-series. This is because, if there is a season three, the German driver will be absent. Instead, Esteban Ocon will make a return to the spotlight, and Nicholas Latifi will likely feature for the first time.
