The 2021 WWE Royal Rumble is finally over, but the WWE Universe around the globe is still in the Royal Rumble hangover, and rightly so! WWE hit the ball right out of the park with the Royal Rumble PPV. So, with Edge winning to Christian and Victoria returning, here’s looking at the best moments from Royal Rumble 2021.

Pleasant Surprises in both Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble!

There were a few returns in the Men’s Royal Rumble, but we can compare none to Christian’s return! ‘Captain Charisma’ returned to the ring after seven long years and was one of the final five men in the match. It was great to see him back; in fact, you could see Edge’s emotions in his eyes.

Two-time WWE Women’s Champion Victoria‘s return was another pleasant surprise for everyone. The veteran returned to WWE after 11 long years, and it was nice to see her square off against the women from the current roster.

‘The Messiah’ Seth Rollins also made his return from paternity leave, entering the Rumble at #29. Rollins was one of the final three men before Edge eliminated him.

Talking about returns, how can we miss Carlito Caribbean Cool? It was great to see the man who spits in the face of people who don’t want to be cool. Although he didn’t spit in anybody’s face, he delivered a spine-chilling backstabber, giving us a flashback of the good old days!

Emotional Wins at the Rumble

Edge made the comeback of the century when he returned at the 2020 Royal Rumble. His feud with Randy Orton was very gripping until a triceps injury forced him out of action.

‘The Rated-R Superstar’ entered the Rumble at #1 and lasted over an hour in the match to win the 2021 Royal Rumble match and punch his ticket to WrestleMania 37.

‘The Rated R-Superstar’ had to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship and retire due to spinal stenosis back in 2011. So him winning the Rumble is emotional as it allows him to once again go for the World Championship; his last reign wasn’t fulfilling for him so this new quest is the perfect comeback story coming full circle.

Bianca Belair became sealed her spot in history after winning the Women’s Royal Rumble match. This is not only a tremendous achievement but also something that she truly deserves. ‘The EST of WWE’ has proved her mettle every time, and it was long overdue for WWE to create a new female star.

There couldn’t have been a more perfect choice than Bianca Belair to win the Women’s Rumble. It’s easy to guess she will challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and the clash between her and Sasha Banks will be a classic for sure.
