Eden Hazard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, and Gareth Bale, who has often felt under-appreciated, for what he has given at Real Madrid, is the one being talked about as an exchange offer for him. According to Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda, real Madrid have been aggressively pursuing Eden Hazard, and are looking to close the deal in January.

Former Real director Jorge Valdano, also criticized the Welshman for being paid more than he is worth. “We continue to measure Bale based on his price,” said Jorge Valdano in an exclusive interview with Radio Marca. “His price tag has created a fantasy that he is a world superstar”, he continued. “But the last five years don’t correspond to what Real Madrid paid for him, even if every season he is applauded for scoring the goal of the year”, he added.

Meanwhile at Chelsea, Eden Hazard’s departure has been talked about since ages, and apparently, now the time has finally arrived. Former Chelsea legend Dennis Wise, said that a player like Hazard would like to win more trophies and test himself in different leagues, which would term his departure from the club inevitable.

“He’s obviously an ambitious guy and if he wants to be a top top world-class player then he probably needs to go on and win lots of different things,” Wise revealed in an exclusive interview with the Express Sport. “You’ve got Barcelona and Real Madrid – those are where top players want to end up”, said Dennis Wise.

However, he also said that he is an important player for Chelsea and that the club would like to hold on to him for as long as possible. An optimistic Dennis Wise said that he would not rule out Eden Hazard being at the Stamford Bridge for another couple of seasons. “But at the moment it’s important that we’ve still got him at Chelsea and I think he loves the place”, he said. “I’m sure in time he’ll make his decision about what’s best for him.At the end of the day, he’s a world-class player and has made such a difference at the start of this season”, added Wise. “Do you want to lose him? Of course you don’t. He’s irreplaceable, if I’m being honest. One day, unfortunately, when he wants to go he will. Hopefully we get a couple more seasons out of him at least”, he smiled.
