Ghost of Tsushima is the latest title from the house of Sucker Punch Productions. This PlayStation exclusive won a lot of hearts, and many consider it to be a worthy contender for game of the year. Earlier today, a senior Game Designer at Sucker Punch Productions wrote about the upcoming 1.1 version of the game on the official PlayStation blog.

The 1.1 update patch of the game will be available to players for free, according to Darren Bridges of Sucker Punch Productions. There had been rumors regarding the co-op multiplayer mode of the game, and this update makes way for it. Furthermore, he announced other updates and New Game+ for the singleplayer campaign gameplay as well.

But the major focus of this update is on Ghost of Tsushima: Legends.

“As we announced in August, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is a brand new, online cooperative multiplayer experience that will be a free update for all Ghost of Tsushima owners. A classic element of some of our favorite samurai films is warriors standing together, ready to fight as a team… Legends features two-player story missions and four-player survival missions, as well as a Raid that we’ll release in the weeks following launch. “

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will feature a new character

The new version of the game will feature a new character whom players can see reappearing at various locations throughout the game. In Legends, players will meet the storyteller Gyozen, who will provide players access to the Legends lobby.

In addition to this, Legends introduces a player class system. Players will be able to choose between 4 classes in this version. Each class will have its own specific abilities.
