LIV Golf emerged last year and completely turned around the sport of golf. From giving the PGA Tour competition to ensuring the sport is evolving, many changes have come about in the sport. But it also has many wondering if the Tour’s commissioner, Jay Monahan, could have made these changes organically without many stars jumping over to the dark side. Well, as per Phil Mickelson, they could not have, and his recent online rant proves exactly why!

Before I left I brought a $1 billion commitment from a current PGATour partner to have 8 elevated events and give equity and ownership in these events to the players. JM’s quote was “ I don’t believe the league is going to happen so we won’t be doing that.” No vote,no discussion

Responding to Porter’s initial tweet about McIlroy, the Living It Up podcast wrote, “It was a long-winded way of saying “Phil was right.” And after a fan chimed in, stating that all Mickelson did was up and quit, the podcast page defected to Lefty.
