The world no. 4, Dustin Johnson, is back at the PGA Tour after a long three-month break. He will begin this year’s title hunting from the Farmers Insurance Open. Although his style of golf hasn’t changed, he has made some huge changes to his driver.
Dustin is one of the most successful golfers in the world at the moment. After joining the PGA Tour in 2007, he had won 24 titles in the Tour alone. He is a two-time winner of major championships, including the 2016 US Open and the 2020 Masters.

Dustin represented his country at the team events like the Arnold Palmer Cup, the Walker Cup, the Ryder Cup, and the Presidents Cup. The American golfer is also known for bagging six of the World Golf Championship titles.

Although he has a good career record, after the Masters’ win, Dustin was struggling to win another title. Coming into 2022, the American golfer has made some changes to make his game better.

As a good player, the fans were shocked to find him struggling to win another title after the 2020 Masters. Even Johnson felt this and was frustrated because of his inconsistency. He said, “It was frustrating to me just because I just wasn’t consistent.”

Dustin explained that he took the break to get his mind off of golf and enjoy other things in life.” I was frustrated with everything, so a break was what I needed,” he said. The American golfer used the time to spend time with his family, fishing, and everything he loves to do; Anything but golf.
“And one thing that I was really frustrated with was with my driver, and we got a new driver this year, the new Stealth driver, and I really like it,” Dustin added. He explained that one of the reasons he took the break was to practice with his new TaylorMade Stealth driver.
