Tiger Woods is officially a billionaire, as per the latest reports. Moreover, he has now joined the elite list of Michael Jordan and LeBron James, who are also billionaires. These are the only three athlete billionaires in the world, which is an incredible achievement. Moreover, according to reports, Tiger turned down a staggering $1 billion offer from LIV Golf.

It is interesting to note that only 10 percent of the whole earnings of Tiger Woods has come from the golf course. The majority of his earnings come from sponsorships deals off the course. He has endorsement deals with Gatorade, Monster, TaylorMade, Rolex, Bridgestone, 2K Sports, Full Swing, and Nike, to name a few.

Additionally, he has also launched his golf course design company. Therefore, he even has golf courses, mini-golf courses, a restaurant, event series, and a foundation by his name to give back to society. Furthermore, Woods has earned around $120 million as career earnings on the PGA Tour with 82 wins and 15 majors.

Tiger Woods also won the 1st PIP Fund bonus last year and has earned a spot in the World Golf Hall of Fame. Woods was also reportedly the first athlete billionaire, but sadly, he dropped drastically during his strenuous phase in life. However, the 15-time major winner is back and has entered the elite list once again majorly through his businesses and endorsements.

Tiger Woods was away from golf after suffering from a solo car crash in February 2021. He suffered multiple injuries to his leg, but thankfully he can walk again. Tiger made his comeback in the recent Masters, where we saw him competing after around a year and a half. But his struggle while walking was visible.

Woods did come back and decided to compete in the 2022 PGA Championship. However, he was in extreme pain throughout the play, and he eventually withdrew from the event after three rounds. Furthermore, Tiger recently made a tweet and informed everyone that he still is not ready to compete in the upcoming U.S. Open. Hence, he has decided to withdraw from the event.

But one interesting thing he did mention was that he is trying to get fit for the 150th Open Championship at St. Andrews. Therefore, his focus is currently on gaining strength and building the stamina to fight it out at St. Andrews in September.
