Saudi League has been in the limelight for quite some time now. It has come out like a rival tour to the PGA as well as, to the DP World Tour. However, there are speculations that various players have been offered huge sums to become part of the league. But none of the professionals have really came forward and agreed to the SGL.

The phrase Saudi Golf League has hovered over the heads of the PGA Tour like dark clouds. Players like Bryson DeChambeau have been offered huge sums to become a part of the trivial tour. Bryson has been offered a sum of $135 million to become the face of the golf league.

Some of the big names in the sport of golf have bluntly said no to being a part of the league. The list of names includes Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa as well as the current World Number one in the Official World Golf Ranking, Jon Rahm. Tiger Woods is also another prominent name to say no to the Saudi-backed golf league and many other professionals as well as Brooks Koepka.

Notably, players like Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson as well as, Phil Mickelson have not yet said no to the SGL. Lee Westwood is another prominent name who is yet to respond to the SGL. Golfing fans still eagerly wait for the professionals to respond to whether they are playing or not.
At the moment, no player has explicitly committed to the Saudi league. Jason Kokrak revealed he’s been in talks with the breakaway tour and states money as the driving factor behind his contemplation. Furthermore, Kramer Hickok also stated that 17 players have signed up for the Saudi League so far but didn’t take up any names!

Consequences relating to playing on the Saudi League
The PGA Tour has made it really clear about the consequences of joining the Saudi Golf League. According to PGA Tour, any player who agrees to play in the league will receive a suspension and a possible lifetime suspension from the PGA Tour. It will be really exciting to see if the players will really play on the SGL or not.
