Jack Nicklaus All Set to Design Another Breathtaking Golf Course in Mexico’s Quivira Los Cabos

Globally acclaimed golfer and course designer, Jack Nicklaus is back with his top-notch game. Notably, he will soon build and design a second course in Quivira Los Cabos, Cabo San Lucas, along Mexico’s beautiful Pacific coast.
Nicklaus, after his retirement from professional golf, decided to put his years of expertise to use and enter the world of course designing. To give his legacy in golf another couple of years, he launched Nicklaus Designs and started his work in the field as early as the 1960s. To date, they have over 425 courses in their name and have quickly become the leading company in the industry.

Earlier, he had designed the Quivira Golf Club, which opened in 2014. This scenic and strategically designed course ranks 25th on Golfweek’s list of best courses in America.
Jack Nicklaus to design a second course at Quivira Los Cabos
Announcing the news in a media release, Nicklaus said, “The first golf course at Quivira is a spectacular layout playing across a remarkable piece of property. Now, I am excited that design is well underway on the second course at Quivira, which should be stunning and equally as spectacular. I hope golfers who play the second course will enjoy the views, the quality of golf, and the challenge.”

Due to the increasing demand, this second Nicklaus design will provide another equally challenging golfing experience for the community that has become a hub for luxury golf. In the 1850-acre land, the course will be situated in the northwest area.
The southern half will provide breathtaking views of the azure waters of the Pacific ocean while the Sierra de la Laguna mountain range will flank the northern boundary. Once developed and ready, it will be open to the people of the Old Lighthouse Club of the Quivira Resort.
