Jack Nicklaus Shares a Lovely Message to His Wife Barbara for Receiving a Massive Honor

Jack Nicklaus is an 18-time major championship winner and is also a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. He has achieved various feats throughout his career.

Recently, the 82-year-old professional posted a special message for his wife on his Instagram account and it is truly a heartwarming one.

Jack Nicklaus’ beautiful acknowledgment for his wife

Barbara Nicklaus, the Golden Bears’ wife won the highest honor in the state of Florida on Friday. She received the Florida Governor’s Medal of Freedom for her contribution to children well being in the state of Florida. As a result, became the second recipient of the award.

Governor Ron DeSantis highlighted that more than $150 million were raised by Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation to support projects not only in Florida or US but as well as, over 120 countries globally. She received this medal during a special ceremony at the PGA National Resort and Spa- Champions course at the Honda Classic.

Barbara Nicklaus delivers a beautiful speech

Nicklaus’ wife spoke some beautiful words after receiving the medal. She said, “I’ve always been so proud of him and I guess in turn I wanted him to be proud of me,” “Early in our marriage, we decided if we were in a position to help anyone, we wanted it to be children.” She added, “What we do for ourselves, dies with us. What we do for others in the world, remains immortal.”
