‘Last Time I’m Put in Charge’: Brooks Koepka’s Wife’s Mistake Lands His Team in an Awkward Situation

Netflix’s full swing sheds light on many things in the golf world. Among them was also the relationship between Jena Sims and Brooks Koepka. And ever since the docuseries’ release, fans started noticing how close the pair really is. It’s not surprising to see the duo heavily involved in each other’s lives. They are married, after all! But Sims is also a part of the 4-time major winner’s golf life. Maybe not for too much longer, considering her most recent hilarious blunder!

Jena Sims makes hasty dinner plans

Like many in the golf world know, Koepka captains Smash GC. But that comes with loads of responsibilities, and not just on the course. Ahead of their second season starting this week, the team was bonding off the course. While dinner plans were being debated, Sims took charge of handling it all. Well and handle it she did!

Sims made a reservation for the entire team at a hotel that had marketed a brilliant “pirate picnic” vibe. But the actress seemed to have missed one crucial detail while making the booking: to check what the hotel exactly meant by it. It wasn’t until the entire team showed up that they realized how badly and hilariously she had messed up.

Taking to Instagram, the former model posted a story and wrote, “Made a reservation for the team… the hotel advertised a “pirate picnic on the beach” Didn’t think twice about it being a dang KIDS SHOW.” Well, the team undoubtedly shared a few laughs about it all. But perhaps Sims was right in her last line of the story! “Last time I’m put in charge of dinner,” she wrote. Fortunately for the actress, the captain’s wife almost certainly will get one free pass.

The pair met for the first time back in 2015 at the Masters. Their relationship had started with a cute friendship following an Instagram DM that Sims initiated. And it wasn’t till two years later that they finally came out to the public and stated that they were dating.

They had been dating for nearly four years when the eight-time PGA Tour winner got down on his knee in 2021. And fortunately for him, the gorgeous actress said yes. In June 2022, the pair finally got hitched after having spent more than 5 years together. And they seem to have been doing everything together ever since. Except maybe not dinner plans going forward!
