The third event of LIV Golf is officially underway in New Jersey. As the roster of the new Tour keeps increasing with each tournament, the excitement of the competitive challenge also arises. Despite the list of top golfers participating in the event, the most attractive element of the lucrative Tour remains the prize money. Let’s take a look at how much prize money will the winner bag home from his win at the Tournament.

The third LIV Golf event is currently taking place at the Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster. This marks the first event taking place at one of Donald Trump’s golf courses.

The Saudi-backed Golf Tour promised its players riches beyond their wildest expectations, and thus far, it has been able to deliver on that promise. The first two LIV Golf champions, Charl Schwartzel and Brendan Grace, each received $4 million for their three days of excellent game. The winner in Bedminster will be receiving precisely that.

A $25 million purse is offered at each of the eight LIV Golf events. The winner of LIV Golf Bedminster will win an astonishing amount of $4 million. That represents a respectable 16% of the entire budget. The four competitors who triumph in the team competition will also get an extra $750,000, bringing the total prize pool to $4.75 million.

While the winner of the LIV Golf Bedminster will receive a $4 million payout, the runners-up in second, third, and fourth place will each receive more than $1 million. At LIV Golf Bedminster, each competitor will take home at least $120,000. Based on the payouts of the first two tournaments of the lucrative Tour, these are the anticipated payouts for the tournament in Bedminster.

If there is a tie, the prize money will be divided equally among the golfers. For instance, if there is a tie for second place, $1,812,500 will be split between the second and third place finishers.
