PGA of America Announces a New Strategic Partnership

The PGA of America is an organization for club professionals. They organize professional events at the top level like PGA Championship, Ryder Cup, KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, etc. Recently, they announced a strategic partnership to increase their merchandising services. 

The PGA of America today announced a strategic partnership with ‘Legends’. Notably, Legends is a global premium experiences company, who have a specialization in data intelligence. Hence, they are expecting a boost in their merchandising with this new deal. Moreover, Legends will operate on-site, online, licensing, and corporate merchandising for the PGA of America.

The PGA of America is all set to boost its merchandising

The Legends will manage the merchandising during the PGA Championship, Ryder Cup, KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, and KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. Moreover, the PGA will also launch a new e-commerce solution where fans can shop a variety of products.

“Given Legends’ experience and expertise, this partnership is a great opportunity for the PGA of America to advance our merchandising strategy for spectator championships, where there is growing demand,” said President Jim Richerson. “Bringing in Legends to handle this expanding area of our Association is a logical next step in these efforts.”

Moreover, in late 2022, PGA Members will be able to use the e-commerce feature. They will have a feature of creating online stores for their golf facilities and pro shops. Hence, everyone is hopeful of taking this partnership in the right direction and providing premium products and services. 

Furthermore, Legends is the premier event retail and merchandising company in the world, having worked with some of the top brands in sports and other industries. Surely, they will help accelerate the growth of PGA’s merchandising, using their data and analytics.
