His health has been constantly on the news since he got diagnosed with bladder cancer. He shared detail of his disease and treatment during an episode of FULL SEND PODCAST. Let’s find out what he had to say.

John Daly talked about his treatment
During the podcast last year, John Daly talked about his cancer and its cure. They asked him about his cancer type and stage. One host also asked about the treatment that he’s been going through. Daly said the tumor was benign, thankfully. And he had to visit the hospital every six months, which was every three months.

Talking about the treatment, he said that it was a painful experience. When he visited the hospital every six months, doctors put a catheter in him with a camera on it to check the tumor. If they found something, they put a jigsaw in there and cut it out. He said, “they put a catheter in me, right in my you-know-what”. He added more to his explanation and talked about the aftermath. He said that it hurt to pee for seven to fourteen days after the catheter treatment.

2020 was not so fortunate for Daly. After his cancer diagnosis, Daly’s fans were praying for his health and wanted to know what happened to him. The urologist made an announcement and cleared everyone’s doubt. He said there were no stones in Daly’s bladder. However, there was cancer. This unfortunate news was harrowing for Daly and his fans.
Daly was suffering from kidney stones and back pain then. As a result, he went for a checkup. After that, his doctor told him to come back so that he could take treat the cancer. Because of the tumor, he withdrew his name from the Champions Tour’s Charles Schwab Series.

Thankfully, the cancer is treatable, and Daly has been undergoing treatment. He will have to visit hospitals every six months for chemo and other therapies, for the next three-four years. All we want is to see him healthy and happy.
