The PGA TOUR 2K23 video game fanatic Gareth Bale recently played at the Farmers Insurance Open. He shared his experience where his mind was blown away, and he enjoyed playing golf. After playing at Torrey Pines and receiving appreciation from Jon Rahm, Bale is again the talk of the town.
The Welsh champion announced his presence at the more traditional Pro-Am on the PGA Tour just two weeks after announcing his retirement on Instagram.
We already know that Bale is a keen golf fan, which has frequently caused him issues in his role as a football player. Given his enthusiasm for golf, the Welsh national team intended to forbid him from participating in games of international competition. The official Twitter handle of the golf game shared a video featuring Bale. They asked the former soccer player about his experience playing Tory Pines in person and playing it on the video game. The winger said, “It actually matches up on the video game pretty good, to be honest. Apart from the real graphs and the computer, it’s, yeah, the graphics are insane.”

The ace soccer player expressed his love for golf video games. He further went on talking about the games he played during world cup matches and said, “I think in the World Cup, we had, obviously, a lot of downtime in our rooms and me, a couple of the boys would play on the game and, yeah, it was just it was good fun.” Stating the similarity or differences, one of the greatest soccer players said, “It was the closest thing we could have gotten to play in golf, obviously, when we need to rest.”

Overall, his experience was enjoyable. The game was quite realistic, according to him. He praised the game and said that the video game was “actually really good game to play.” And he enjoys it a lot.

Bale announced his retirement from football right after the World Cup in Qatar, writing two heartfelt messages to his former clubs and national team. Next weekend will be his debut participation on the PGA Tour. Naturally, the Welshman will compete in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am as an amateur.
