Breaking barriers and crushing stereotypes is a casual Sunday afternoon for Paige Spiranac. However, what’s most important is she practices what she preaches, constantly opening up about her personal struggles as a way of encouragement for others to do the same.
“When I was little I… I like really bad social anxiety,” the former professional golfer recently said. She reveals what she calls ‘one of the biggest mistakes’ that she ever made, in the latest episode of her podcast.

According to Spiranac, her social anxiety restricted her from being outgoing and forthcoming. And this personality trait led her to make one of the biggest mistakes of her life.
“I rip my pants all the way up the back,” the social media sensation retold the incident to Amanda Rose. “… like literally from like top down to the cr**k.” She couldn’t talk to anyone about the incident owing to her struggle with anxiety. Hence, the golfer took the matter into her own hands and found a solution all by herself.
“I just grabbed the fabric, pulled it,” Spiranac explained what she did to hide her issue from everyone. “… and stuck it in between my cheeks and like wobbled around.” Furthermore, she firmly added, “That was a big mistake.” She notes she was nine when the incident happened.

Another one of her mistakes, according to her, was cutting bangs and dyeing her hair black like Wednesday Addams. For those who don’t know, Wednesday Addams is a character from the comic strip ‘The Addams Family,’ created by cartoonist Charles Addams. The comic strip was adapted to make animated series, movies, and musicals.
